I keep seeing posts as well as R&S messages to me saying, "Evolution excludes God from creation." How?

It excludes all the holy books version of creation, which is the "creation story", and evolution is completely different than the creation story. Also all religion is based on holy books, so if the holy books are wrong, then why believe in religion and god?
