Why can't people go to church just to be nice?

So you don't believe in God and heaven and stuff. But, it means a lot to the people who are running the church. It is upsetting to see empty seats and pews. Don't you want to put a smile on a Christian's face today? It means so much to "think" they converted someone. Also, you get rewarded by the God you don't believe in, by being charitable. I also get a kickback for thinking of this. What is YOUR slant on MY viewpoint???
